Cabinet Des Fées » Our Grim(m)oire
An Important Announcement from CdF
Apologies to anyone who tried to visit the site late last week, only to find that it was down. We’ve been experiencing a lot of technical glitches lately and have been very unhappy with the way our host has been handling certain things. Because of this, we decided to move the website to a new host and with that move we have given the site a new domain. We apologise again if this causes confusion, but we believe it was the best thing we could do for the site and for you, our readers.
This site will remain static until October 1 of this year, at which point this domain will forward to the new one. This should give everyone plenty of time to update their links, their RSS feeds … Read entire article »

The release of Issue 9
Fairy tales must be told. How else will we ever find our way through the woods?
Cabinet des Fées is pleased to celebrate with you the release of our 9th issue. Inside we have work by Keyan Bowes, Joshua Gage, Megan Arkenberg, Sarah E. Colona and many other fine writers who have shared their worlds with us.
First, we must extend a heartfelt thanks to Nin Harris and Aria Nadii for all of their hard work on the new site design and the mechanisms that make it work. Over there in the sidebar you’ll find the full table of contents for Scheherezade’s Bequest, our tri-annual offering of fiction and poetry. Also in the sidebar you’ll find ways to connect with Cabinet des Fées elsewhere on the web. We’ve now … Read entire article »

CdF’s New Clothes
Welcome to the new Cabinet des Fées – after four years online, the website has finally received the upgrade it deserves. All of the content from the old site is here on the blog in what we hope are easily navigable categories, though because many people have linked to the site, the old pages are still there in the background. To celebrate our new look, we’ve added a new review of the 10th anniversary issue of Mythic Delirium (to be found in our Book Reviews category to the right). We’d also like to introduce you to the Carruth’s new Storyteller Series, which begins with the Volsunga Saga. This entry can be found in our Storytellers category, also on the right.
We hope you enjoy the new website. If you … Read entire article »
